Burning Con is a weekend gathering for fans of Burning Wheel Headquarters' games: Burning Wheel, Burning Empires, Mouse Guard, Freemarket, Torchbearer, Miseries & Misfortunes and Inheritance. After a ten year hiatus, we brought Burning Con back in 2023 using a retreat-style format to maximize chill vibes, game time and hangs. It's an intense, intimate, supportive and fun weekend of gaming in the beautiful Hudson Valley, just one hour north of NYC (accessible by Metro North).
The 20th Anniversary of the 1st Burning Con (05-05-05) will be held Friday, October 31st to Sunday, November 2nd. We will soon release tickets and special packages (think 20th Anniversary posters and tshirts). This year we’ll also have a special Beginner’s session on Friday afternoon, if there is enough interest. And there will be options to extend your stay at the retreat center on Thursday or Sunday night, if that makes traveling easier on you.
